some of you received this letter in our christmas card. i am posting it because its a simple copy and paste catch up.. i know, cheater cheater pumpkin eater... (i do love halloween!)Mike: Drum roll please.... Yes! He has just earned his bachelors degree in Public Administration! Mary and the kids are so proud of him. He has been a great example to our family and Mary can't wait for him to get a job.... and go back to school... He will be walking graduation December 21st. Of course as he re-enters the work force his recent years of domestication will be missed not only by his wife but by her friends as well who learned to rely upon Mike in times of need, like picking up kids and emergency baby sitting.
Mary: She's been whining alot about the cold weather, of course she does that very well. Still working as a top makeup artist in the Las Vegas area, dealing with sweat, zits, red noses, fly away hair and high definition. She has always been defined by her career, and is feeling not so glamorous these days. She is looking forward to spending more time with the kids and improving her volleyball game. (let's face it, she needs all the help she can get, in both areas) She spends her free time hanging out with her girlfriends and eating chinese food.
Zachary: Just finished his first season of flag-football. Mike and Mary see a bright future in football for him as a broadcaster. While watching football games he talks circles around the broadcasters, and since he inherited his mother's genes for athletics, this direction looks promising. Despite his lack of athletic girth, he was a great team player this year. Mike worked with him on receiving and passing and he made his share of touchdowns and gained some yards for the team. Zach's soccer season was great! He was one of the best players on the team and scored countless goals! He just had his first piano recital and performed by memory. He has an awesome scout master who encourages him and his dad to complete badge after badge. It takes him 20 minutes to walk to the car after school, since he and his two friends can't seem to stop passing the football to one another and go home. Zach is a joy to have in our home, he makes silly noises non-stop and is an expert when it comes to pestering his little sister.
Raegan: Well what can we say about Ol' blue eyes! She is quite the jokester, loves to make up silly jokes, and only 20% of them don't make any sense. Still the creative monkey, if you were to drop in un- announced to our home you would find Raegan-creations everywhere. She is always re-decorating the house. We find bows and barrettes on the greenery, jewels on the candlesticks and picture frames, and swags of fabric (blankets) draped over various pieces of furniture. The other night we came home after a date to an Arabian theme in our living room, every pillow in the house was on the floor, just like Aladdin She is doing very well in school, she had all A's on her last report card and she too had her first piano recital. She started lessons a few months back, she played "Old Mac Donald" flawlessly, 4 times in a row. Rae played soccer this year too, by the end of the season she finally stopped running from the ball and played agressively. She continues to take dance (ballet this year) and is still joined at the hip to her best friend Sierra Selinger. We love having Raegan in our lives, her laughter fills your heart and she too is an expert at pestering her big brother.
